The Edgewater Inn & Cottages offers sixteen cozy knotty pine decor guest rooms and six private cottage rentals conveniently nestled along the shore of the world's largest chain of freshwater lakes in Eagle River, WI.  All cottages at Edgewater Inn have a view overlooking the Eagle River.

Only one mile west of downtown Eagle River as other activities and dining are a quick walk or drive. For those of you who need outside connections, we have cable TV and Wireless Internet Connections, better yet, take the opportunity to unplug and relax near the water's edge.

Watercraft & Boating

Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing boats, ski boats, kayaks, canoes, or SUPs.  Cottages come with the use of an overly abused rowboat.   Dock space first come, first served.

Reservations are subject to minimum stay requirements during various times of the year. Seasonal minimum stay requirements are posted in the reservation system for your convenience. Cottages are always a minimum stay of at least 2 nights.

Yep, as the name suggests we are indeed located on the shore of the Eagle River between Watersmeet and Yellow Birch lakes with direct access to all 28 lakes of the Eagle River chain.

For the enjoyment of all our guests, quiet hours (no loud TVs, music, gatherings, or barking dogs) must be observed daily between 10 PM and 7 AM. Guests who do not respect this policy will be asked to leave and no refund will be made.

Each cottage has parking spots for one vehicle next to it. We do have a parking lot in front of the Inn.  There is ample truck/trailer parking, just check with Fritz upon check-in for assistance.

Our cabins do not meet all ADA regulations therefore the answer is no. However, we will do everything within our ability to accommodate your stay.

Yes, depending upon your provider as some are better than others in our area.

We have a sandy area along the shore that gently slopes into the water. No lifeguard on duty.

Yes, all our cabins have full-size stoves and refrigerators plus a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, and plenty of dishes and utensils.

We would recommend bringing dish soap, trash bags, and paper towels.

Yes, all bed linens for the rated occupancy are provided offering you a relaxing night’s sleep. 

The only exception is our extended stay rooms (5 & 6).  Guests of these rooms are asked to supply their own linens and towels.

No, we do not. There are coin operate laundromats nearby.
