Fishing Season has started.
Does not mean the one can not go Biking, hiking or Canoe/kayaking.
Next weekend is to be a little warmer as in the mid 70's and sun for Mudfest.
Pan fishing is good out there off the dock. Just a few little ones, but kept us busy.
Hiking and biking trails are very good shape.
Time to get that early start with your canoe or kayak
County Highway G to Edgewater Inn & Cottages is only about a 2 1/2 hour paddle down the Wisconsin River.
Can help with some shuttles.

Time to start thinking about wonderful northern Wisconsin early spring weekend or mid-week in a cottage or a cozy room in the Inn here in the Eagle River, Vilas County Area.
On the waterfront of the Eagle River chain of 28 lakes between Watersmeet and Yellow Birch lakes. The Inn has cozy knotty pine paneled rooms. The waterfront cottages have kitchens with enclosed porches. Enjoy a day of fishing for Muskies, Walleye, Bass or pan fish in one of the over 1000 lakes, Trout in one of the many clear streams or look for Ruff Grouse, Deer, Bear or any of the other animals. We are encompassed by Chequamegon- Nicolet National Forest, Northern Highland American Legion Sate Forest and Vilas County Forest that have bike and hiking trails for all levels of experience. Only one mile west of downtown Eagle River as other activities and dining are a quick walk or drive. For those of you that need the outside connections we have cable TV and Wireless Internet Connections or better yet just sit near the water's edge and relax.

22st Annual Fly-in & Air Show
June 15-16th, 2012
Friday: 5pm - 9pm and Saturday: 8am - 3pm. Held at the Eagle River Union Airport. Friday night activities include Father's Day Fish Boil and the Wisconsin River Band.
Saturday activities include pancake breakfast, aircraft static displays, RC model planes and the airshow from Noon to 2pm. (Rain date: Sunday, June 17, 2012.)
